Vespa New Orleans Introduces Christopher Palmer
Vespa New Orleans is proud to announce the addition of Christopher Palmer to our staff. Christopher, originally from Detroit, Michigan, comes to us from Southern California. A graduate of Wayne State University, Christopher has worked as a BMW motorcycle mechanic, an airframe and powerplant mechanic for Grande Aire Operations, a tool and die maker for Arrowsmith Tool and Die, and a tooling designer, build coordinator, and prototype engineer for General Motors.
Christopher has been restoring and working on vintage Vespas for over 15 years and has just completed training to become a Piaggio Certified Technician. He is the founder of the Ambassador Scooter Club, North America's first international scooter club, in Michigan.
Christopher will serve as Service Manager, including overseeing our new Vintage Parts and Restoration Department. Come on by and welcome Christopher to New Orleans.

Being a top dealer has its perks! In early November Gayle and Steve Materne (owners of VNO) headed to Italy, with the other top U.S. dealers, as guests of Piaggio. Their trip included a stop at the Piaggio Factory and Museum. Come by Vespa New Orleans to look at the photo album. |

It is usually a big deal to see one Ferrari in New Orleans, but when over 100 of them show up on the streets of New Orleans people really start to notice. November 12th thru the 14th the Ferrari Club of Louisiana hosted the 5th annual Ferrari French Quarter Classic. Vespa New Orleans sponsored the event by providing two custom Ferrari Vespas to be used at the Friday track day.
In addition to the two Ferrari Vespas, Piaggio USA sent the display rig that was used at the Friday track day and the Saturday Concorso at Longue Vue Gardens. |

Enjoy Celebration in the Oaks on your Vespa as our guest! Meet at Vespa New Orleans at 4pm for some holiday goodies. At 5:30pm we will have a special showing of Celebration in the Oaks courtesy of Vespa New Orleans.
Mardi Gras Ride Sunday, February 1st
Enjoy Mardi Gras from a totally new point of view. We will have our 3rd annual Mardi Gras ride. Visit both ends of the parade route all in one day!! We will meet at Vespa New Orleans 9:30am for coffee and pull out at 10am.
Crescent City Classic Ride Saturday, March 26th
Be the first person to cross the finish line of the Crescent City Classic...on your Vespa. For the second year the New Orleans Vespa Association will lead the Crescent City Classic. More Details to come!
French Quarter Festival Parade Thursday, March 8th
