Vespa New Orleans Launches Website

After months of preparation, www.VespaNewOrleans.com has been launched. This site will serve current and prospective customers with events and model updates. Within the next few months we will also be launching the New Orleans Vespa Association website. This is just one more way that Vespa New Orleans is here to serve you and your scootering needs!

New Orleans Police get LT150s

Piaggio cops In early July Vespa New Orleans delivered 10 Piaggio LT150s and 1 Vespa Granturismo to the 8th District of the NOPD, which includes the French Quarter and Downtown. New Orleans now joins New York as the first two U.S. cities to use Piaggio scooters for their scooter fleets. Piaggio holds the contracts for most of the European Police departments, and the NOPD's Granturismo is the first Police model of it's kind. The scooters were donated by area business including the Granturismo, which was donated by Vespa New Orleans.

Piaggio Police Parade   The 8th District is in the process of buying 10 more LT150s to complete their fleet. If you are interested in helping the NOPD raise the funds the aquire the new scooters please contact Vespa New Orleans.

The Piaggio X9 Evolution has arrived at Vespa New Orleans. The X9 is a 500cc Liquid Cooled, Fuel Injected, 4-stroke. With a top speed of 100mph!! This scooter is the leader in Europe and is already getting rave reviews in the U.S. Come by the shop and check it out!

CRESCENT CONNECTION ROAD RACE Saturday, September 11th, 2004 Meet at Vespa New Orleans 4:00pm

Join us for the experience of a lifetime! The Crescent City Classic Race Series has invited us to man the water station at the top of the Crescent City Connection. Imagine scooting to the top of the bridge at sunset. Not only will you be having a blast - you'll also be doing a good deed. And the racers appreciate it immensely. After our duty is done we're invited to join the after race festivities at Twiropa.
