Drivable Art Raffle- One of a Kind, Hand Painted Vespa Masterpiece
Vespa New Orleans aims to raise $25,000 for the Arts Council of New Orleans

Through a generous donation by Vespa New Orleans, the Arts Council of New Orleans will hold a One-of-a-Kind Vespa Raffle.
Don't miss your chance to own a brand new Vespa Granturismo GT creatively designed and hand painted by local New Orleans artists Evelyn Menge and Darrin Butler. This unique piece of drivable art will be on display at Vespa New Orleans until the drawing.
Raffle tickets are $100 each and only 250 will be sold.
The drawing for the Vespa GT will take place during a special Art for Arts Sake reception on October 7, 2006 at Vespa New Orleans located at 901 Julia @ Baronne.
All proceeds will benefit the Louisiana Artworks Project.

Seattle jewelry designer, Jennifer Bauser, has her line of sterling silver scooter jewerly available now at Vespa New Orleans. The collection includes pins, key chains, earrings, and necklaces. In addition to the scooter jewelry, Jennifer has created an entire line of New Orleans "fleur de lis" themed jewerly exclusively for Vespa New Orleans. |
The Art of Darrin Butler on Display at Vespa New Orleans until October

Darrin Butler is a local artist who uses wood as his medium to display his abstract and modern designs. No brushes are used in the artistic process of applying stains and automotive paint. Darrin uses the birch wood grain as the center of attaction because there are no brushstrokes.
Darrin's work will on display at The "Gallery Within" the Vespa Shop located at Vespa New Orleans until the end of October.
You may, in fact, already own some of Darrin's amazing artwork if you've ever had body and paint work done on your Vespa at Vespa New Orleans. You see Darrin got his start as an automotive painter years ago at Sewell Cadillac. These days his only foray into that realm of his history can be found in his working with our beautiful Italion works of art. Darrin has been keeping our Vespas beautiful for the past four years!
Darrin is also available to make your Vespa a "one of kind" work of art with his custom paint jobs. Maybe your Vespa wants to be pink or have flames! Let your imagination go wild - Darrin can make it happen! |
