Vespa New Orleans has launched our first in a series of graphic tees with catchy scooter sayings. Our first shirt has the side view of a Vespa with the saying "transportation revolution". On the back of all of our shirts is the Vespa New Orleans logo with a fleur de lis above it. |

Vespa New Orleans Grand Opening Open House Saturday, July 15th

Vespa New Orleans will celebrate our fourth year anniversary, and the Grand Opening of our 901 Julia Street store on Saturday, July 15th. We will host an Open House beginning at 11am. It will be a day full of food, fun and prizes. We are also planning to start the day with a group ride around town that morning at 9am. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for details. |

A Piaggio Fly 150 scooter is being raffled in order to raise funds for the New Orleans Police Department. The winner will be chosen on August 1st at Nelson Savoie's Night Out Against Crime party at 3006 Esplanade Ave. All proceeds raised will go directly to improving the work enviroment for the officiers of the 1st District. Their station on Rampart St. was hit hard by Hurricane Katrina and still is operating without air conditioning. Tickets are one chance for $5, and 3 for $10 and are available now at Vespa New Orleans at 504.595.6776 or by contacting Nelson at 504.628.5552. The winner does not need to be present to win. |

On Saturday May 27th Peter Moore, author of Vroom With A View, stopped by Vespa New Orleans for a book signing. We had a great time hosting him, and giving him his first tour of New Orleans. Before he left he signed a few copies of his book, which are still available at Vespa New Orleans.

Opening Soon By Design - Vespa New Orleans

Since April of 2005, the Fine Living Network's show "Opening Soon By Design" had been following the Materne family in their quest to build North American's largest Vespa dealership. The story took an unexpected turn with Hurricane Katrina, and the production crew was there to follow. Our show debuted last Thursday. Click on the Modern Vespa link to see what people are saying. The last service reminders we sent were in August of 2005, but that doesn't mean you don't have to service your bike! The first service is required at 625 miles or 4 months. Then every 2000 miles or 12 months after that. To set up your appointment call the Vespa serice department at 504.595.6776. |

Wednesday At The Square - Only 2 Concerts Left

Wednesday at the Square is a weekly concert series that comes to an end June 21st. The concerts are 5-7:30pm. There's great food, anything you could want to drink and fabulous artwork available from New Orleans finest artists. This week is Sonny Landreth and the final concert will be The Chee Weez. Tales of the Cocktail's "Mix It Up" Party On Magazine Street Sponsored By Vespa New Orleans Saturday July 22nd 6-9pm

New Orleans will once again be home to "Tales of the Cocktail", a unique dining and drinking experience that explores the history and spirit of the cocktail which had is beginnings right here in the Crescent City. It's headquartered at the Hotel Monteleone July 19-23.
Vespa New Orleans is sponsoring the "Mix It Up" party on Saturday, July 22nd. The event takes place in the 2000 block of Magazine Street from 6 - 9pm. Admission is $15.
Listen to music by local DJs, shop unique boutiques and enjoy a variety of cocktails at this block-party styled event. |
