The Maternes opened the doors to Vespa Baton Rouge on Tuesday, November 1st. The morning began with Baton Rouge Mayor, Kip Holden, proclaiming it "Vespa Baton Rouge Day", and handing over a key to the city.
Vespa Baton Rouge is located at 9828 Airline Highway just north of I-12. (If you are a Baton Rouge native we are next to Chico's Chevron). Our sign is not up yet, but we do have scooters parked out front. The new phone number is 225.248.1770. Stop by and tell us hello!

Vespa New Orleans is #1 in the South

Despite not having a store front for two months, Vespa New Orleans was named the #1 dealer in the south by Piaggio USA. The ranking was based on scooter sales from September 2004 to September 2005. Thanks to everyone for their support! |

Vespa New Orleans is offering FREE pick-up and delievery from 901 Julia street. We are offering this service twice a week by appointment. Vespa New Orleans is committed to serving our New Orleans customers until we can get our New Orleans store up and running in January.
This service is only free from our 901 Julia location. If the bike must be picked up or dropped off any other location we will only charge our local tow rate of $60. Call us at 225.248.1770 or email the link below to set up your appointment!

Scooter Rally Recap

It was a rally for true diehards. The 2005 Down and Dirty Rally was a celebration in rebirth for the city of New Orleans. It all began on Friday with the Vespa N.O./B.R. crew meeting up with the Scoot Baton Rouge group for a River Road Ride to New Orleans. On Saturday morning we sponsored a breakfast at the almost complete Vespa New Orleans store at 901 Julia Street.
All in all the 4 day rally was a huge success, and a great showing that New Orleans is not dead! |

Vespa New Orleans is less than 2 months from re-opening it's doors at 901 Julia at Baronne. We are still aiming for an early January opening. In the coming weeks we will be setting up a display in the windows for the holiday season.
